14.730 @ 90.52 mph

14.718 @ 90.74 mph

Both runs were in 4wd with the juice on level 4 and the tranny in tow/haul a$$ mode

Ran against a truck just like mine on the second run. He had the 6.0 gas motor and ran a 17.63 @ 79.33 mph, not sure if he had any mods though

The JUICE is a kicker.......One little black box plugged into an outstanding motor ........Your all most at the speed limiter....Shed some truck weight and it will drop out before your at the end of the quarter....

Were those time with Juice alone?? What other mods if any have you done? I am planning on sneaking to the track next week to see what she can do, and judging from all the times so far, high 14's should be easy. Only other mods I have besides the juice is a K&N, thats it.

Mike,

Good times! What were your reaction times and 60ft times?

I saw the pics of your intake, very nice! Can you give details - what element is it, what parts used, where purchased?

Thanks, Steve

Just think if you had a regular cab! We weighed one today @ 5700# with the 8.1 and Allison. Now in fairness it had no AC or power windows, single battery etc.

My CC long weighed in at 7100#. Now I have a B+W gooesneck hitch, retrax cover, sprayed in liner etc. My guess is that comparably equipped, there is a 800-1000# weight difference for crew cab vs regular.

14.730 @ 90.52 mph
RT 1.29
60' 2.029

14.718 @ 90.74 mph
RT 1.17
60' n/a (timer broke in right lane)

So far my best RT was a .928 my best 60' was 2.015
both on a 14.77 @ 89.44 mph run on July 5th

In defense of my poor RT's - it's hard to watch the boost gauge & tree at the same time
(the front tires will hop with too much boost)

The air filter housing is from Pacific Performance Engineering, they use it when they install 502's and superchargers on 454's in chevy & gmc pickups. PPE sent a cone shaped K&N air filter (4 5/8 top x 6 bottom x 9 long) with the housing so I used it, but any air filter that with clamp onto a 4" tube will work. I hunted up the rest of the plumbing and hoses myself. It took a little engineering to make everything fit and line up. But I located the inlet so I can take out the pass side headlight and have instant
"ram air"
