Duramax in Canada

Just got back last night from being in Winnipeg for a week. I saw more Duramax's and the old 6.5TD's there than I have any where else I have been. I have a dealer there that works on a ton of the old 6.5's. Glad to know our friends to the north know what a GOOD truck is.

On a side note I pulled my oldest daughters car back on my car haul with weighted about 5500 lbs and I got the best mileage ever. 14.6 mpg. I used the gear venders in double overdrive. They tell you not to do that but the trans temp dropped about 20* when I did and it pulled like a dream.

I'm visiting Canada as I am typing I also was impressed by the number of Dmaxes on the road. I even hobnobbed with some of their owners which was enjoyable none had any problems with their trucks. If any of you DP members are driving in the vicinity of Ardrossan Greenhouses RR 221 off the Yellowhead in the next couple of weeks stop by and we can put some faces to the handles we use. Stu

Just returned from a Canada trip myself.

Duramaxes everywhere.
And elk.
And bears.
And women with big....yikes! I gotta go.
