I bought my 2003 D/A under the GMS (GM Supplier) program (My employer, Lockheed Martin, is a GM Supplier). From what I could tell, the GMS price is 12% off MSRP. I've also heard about dealers offering the GMS price to anyone. There's even a big dealer around here who is quoting Invoice minus hold back (about 3% below invoice) which is lower than the GMS price. See www.gmsupplierdiscount.com

just to clarify...GMS is for employees of General Motors (and immediate family) and hughes employees and a couple other GM-owned companies. GM Supplier, on the other hand, is for companies and municipalities that buy a specified amount of GM product each year. these 2 price points are different. Supplier is unually a couple $100's under invoice and GMS is $1,000-$1,200 under invoice. for example: 2003 tahoe 2wd LT, MSRP-$40,267 invoice-$35,737.77 Supplier-$35,422.39 and GMS-$34,059.99. so you can see the difference in the pricing. Well there are all the numbers from the invoice that is sitting in front of me...enjoy

Hey Howard, know of any GMC sources in Florida that will GMS or a little over invoice to save on the gift taxes? You know, I might be willing to change to the dark side if I can find a dealer willing to deal. ;) It is kinda tough to do Michigan and back to Florida in a weekend.
