Not bad, they ran a 12.16@115 at Bandimere Raceway in Denver, CO with a single turbo w/o drugs in a 4975# Dakota. They will need to gain 525# to be legal for the DHRA's new heads up Pro Street Diesel class next year if they're really serious about racing. You can weigh 15# per cubic inch with a 5500# minumum.

If I remember right, that truck is running slicks. Apparently they left alot on the table. 115mph is 12.0-11.9 normally in an aerodynamic vehicle, and a mid-11 in a truck.

Which year Dakota came with a diesel? They should have just put the motor in Viper if they were smart.

Is it just me, or does it seem a bit "reckless" to post an afternoon street dragrace on your business site? Burnouts in the parking lot, while dangerous, are only a noise offense. But documented high-speed racing on a public steet in traffic seems like a business "snuff flick!"

I think about that when I see the Discovery Channel's shows with Jesse James doing donuts, wheelies and burnouts on the Long Beach city streets.

I guess if you can get away with it... I'm more jealous than appalled :D
