Fuel rails; design change to incorporate fuel pressure sensor and pressure limit valve in or on the rails

Fuel injector; new CRIN 2 Bosch design and injector orientation has changed to outside of the engine

Fuel pressure sensor; higher pressure reading ability and sealing method changed to bite type seat

Fuel injector return lines; new design external to engine

Fuel pump; adapter flange new design with vent, new KUEV valve settings

FICM; cooling plate change, CRIN 2 software

ECM; new Delphi processor

Cylinder head; new design includes integrated injector tubes

Valve cover; new design to accommodate injectors moving outside of the engine

Serpentine belt; new material

Turbo; new VNT design from new supplier

EGR valve; new design controlled by DC motor and new supplier EGR cooler

HP fuel line routing; High pressure fuel line routing has changed due to the removal of the Function Block

PCV system; design changed from open system to a closed system with fewer parts

CAC; new Charge Air Cooler design with plastic tank ends

Glow plugs; new design low voltage 4.7V PWM control

Glow plug controller; new design fast glow controlled by CAN, pre and post glow

Cam sensor; new design and supplier Denso

Crank sensor; new design and supplier Denso

What transmission changes if any?

yes I believe the fuel filter is the same...

as for the trans there was a new calibration for the increased power... but I am not aware of any other changes... there are always continuous improvements made with these products..

Plastic endtanks on the intercooler...hmm, hope it doesn't BLOW THE ENDTANKS OFF at high/over 30psi boost like stock Toyota Supra Turbos would when modified for more boost...(potential for) uggghhh...

The transmission changes I heard about were the addition of another solenoid and the increase of idle fluid flow to solve cooling issues in stop n go high temp situations. Not upgradeable for 01-03 as I asked. :(

That's too bad here I was hoping we'd be able to use gas when it's cheaper.Stu
