Took a bit to wiggle out the downpipe with the cat. Honestly the dent was in the side of the Cat before I started!

Performance wise/seat of pants it seems to have a little more pop, and the turbo whines louder and quicker now. At least I think it does.

I looked at the outlet of the cat and it had basically a screen mesh that wash probably about 1/16 in holes.

The sound is a heck of a lot better!

Randy: I have been wanting to cut the cat out. Are you saying that you pulled the downpipe?

I just planned on cutting and welding.

Thanks, Lloyd

Yes, I slid it forward and it wiggled between the tranny pan and the torsion bar. It wasnt pretty, I had to bang in the side of the Cat to get it to wiggle through.

If I had known for absolute sure the Banks downpipe would fit, I would have cut the Cat at both ends, and it would have dropped straight down. The two pipes looked so different though, I couldnt be sure. The factory Cat pipe had a nice kink in it too.

On top of it, my EGT's look like they dropped 75 to 100 degrees without the Cat.

**EDIT** - spelling
