switching to an ally

hey guys i currently drive a 04 6 spd dodge this will be my third cummins but i am tired of shifting so i want to trade to an auto i wont get a dodge auto so my choice will be an dura ally combo lets hear all the good and bad on the motor thanks and tranny :D

74,000 miles om my 02 mostly pulling 12,000+ and it still runs great and the trans shifts firmer and better than new.

Like any, you'll hear good and bad. Mine have been beyond good, in fact great. The Allison, like any transmission has it's limitations, but if yo respect it it will last a long time. If you cross the line they will slip, but have a pretty decent protect built in so they just begin holding less and less TQ rather than burning to a crisp.
