I have had a Haynes maintenance manual that was very helpful for my '99 Silverado. Any of you DIY'ers recommend a service/maintenance manual for the '05 Siverado D/A 25000HD?

www.alldatadiy.com (http://www.alldatadiy.com)

As good, or better than anything in print. A lot less costly, too. Many dealers use it.

Dittos to DM's www.alldatadiy.com (http://www.alldatadiy.com) recommendation. http://forum.thedieselpage.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif
In addition to service info alldata also provides a list of current TSB's.

Another option is the GM Factory Service manuals available from www.helminc.com. (http://www.helminc.com.)

Personally I like having access to both.

the only bad thing about the printed versions is you have no way of knowing when a service manual update is released. Which is quite often. We use both alldata pro (http://www.alldatapro.com) and GM Dealerworld.
