Badmax

I was in level 4 most times I just bring the rpms to 1200 not much boost , I did do one run with 5 lb of boost and had alot of wheel spin so I leave the line with little to no boost

dmaxed do you have a four by if so as hard as it is on the drive train leaving in 4x4 will get you into the low 14.s

I did one 4wd run last year and did not like the way the truck felt plus I don't like going 90 mph in 4wd so I will stick to 2wd runs

I was wondering what typical times for a regular cab 4x4 are? I'm starting to wonder if I have the only regular cab 2500HD D/A in existence

Stock?

And with the typical hotjuice/drop in filter/exhaust?

If the whole 100#=about a tenth that would put a reg cab very close to hitting 13's with the typical bolt ons  ???

Anyone here with a regular cab? They really do exist..... tongue.gif smile.gif

My reg cab 3500.

60ft........2.757
330ft.......7.452
ET@594ft...10.575
1/8 ET.....11.280
1/8 MPH....63.84
1/4 ET.....17.386
1/4 MPH....78.96

2nd run with Juice box added on #4 setting. It was very sluggish between shifts but pulled very hard:
60ft........2.355
330ft.......6.520
ET@594ft....9.293
1/8 ET......9.909
1/8 MPH....73.05
1/4 ET.....15.388
1/4 MPH....88.74

I picked up 2 seconds and 10 MPH.

After you run around with the box on I am sure times would improve. Truck always seemed faster than than that first day at the track.

I think peanutgrower ran a 14.24 with his RC in 4wd
CPmac632 ran a 14.22 with his RC on mud tires rowing a 6 speed in Muncie, I think his fastest is a 14.1

Low 14's Schweeeeet

Wonder what it would take mild bolt on wise to hit a 13? I know the abiltiy is there with software but will the alli handle it for long or is a 13 a sure fire way to limp it? Maybe just decent tires and a 2wd launch?

I'm running 265 dunlop rover rt's, maybe if I get something stickier in a shorter tire....wonder if Micky makes a E rated slick  ;) :D

This is the first vehicle I have ever owned that I wanted to rack up the miles in. Break in time is coming way to slow :(

Oh well, at least by the time I have the miles on her I will have the $$$ to play with and hopefully the juice will be out with its controller  Or maybe a different "hot ticket" will come along by then.

The wheel spin problem (in my case) was in 2wd but it was mostly the tracks fault -- very greasy at the start line. On normal pavement it lauches just fine in 2wd with very good traction and two good black rubber stips.
I didn't do enough runs (5 of) to experiment with different 2wd launches (1 only) but it was faster once it got through burning the tires.
DMAXED what was the "bad feeling" in 4wd? mine use to vibrate about 60 mph but the front diff. has quite a bit more mileage on it now and the bad vibes are gone.

Has anyone spent time comparing the difference between regular and T/H mode at the track. I have the hot juice setup on level 4 in regular and level 2 in T/H. The truck pulls hard but pauses a fair bit between shifts. I was wondering if it would pull harder and be quicker with the firmer shifts in T/H.

Turbo Al

My truck pulls right/left it was tuff to keep going straight my rear tires are smoked so I don't know if the tire size from front to rear gave me that feeling.

Duke I have tested with the t/h mode I got more tire spin off the line in 2wd and my times are a bit slower , I had disconected the batteries to clear a code and the trans had to relearn shift points and it did not defuel that bad between shifts.
