This past weekend, Pulling my 6500 # trailer, I left town with a tank of Texaco and running into a head wind, I got 11.1 mpg. Second tank was Exxon and no headwind, I got 12.3 mpg. Next tank into a milder head wind with Flying J was 14.0. I know there are many variables but...

I would say so, Personally I feel that out of all the different places I fill up, I get the worst fuel mileage from ExxonMobil. Yup most would disagree, but never got any good fuel mileage in any diesel truck we have(CAT,6.5,Dmax), I mean no offense to EM, I mean im a shareholder and all, but It could something not related to brands..How clean the fuel is, cleaner fuel gets better fuel mileage. I fuel up at places I know put out alot of fuel everyday in town, My fuel filters in every truck look pretty spotless. Bill

That is not enough data to make an honest judgement. Later! Lone Eagle

I ran 5 tanks at Luvs and 5 at Wal-Mart. Took total miles vs. total gallons for each and saw a 1 mpg difference with the positive being Wally World. I put my Mega on and got the 1 mpg back at Luvs. Hmmmm.

Are you guys for real? Who cares 1mpg one way or another! Gain 5-6 and i'm all ears! Size of boot is the main culprit of lack of milage!

Hey he asked a question and I answered it...In my opinion I said, So that means IN MY OPINION if my opinion included scientific data, I would have included it. And Broker 1 mpg over half a million miles would make a pretty big difference Right.?
438,000 miles lets say by 11 mpg =39,818.2 gallons
438,000 miles by 12 mpg= 36,500.0 gallons
1 mile per gallon difference would have saved you 3,318 gallons for lets say a New England Average Price of diesel a 1.70 a gallon would have saved you 5,646 dollars.. Some people are just so penny wise and dollar foolish. Just Kidding Bill. :D

Last night I filled up with $1.30 a gallon diesel. Gas was 1.67 at the same station. If I was driving a big block right now I'd be looking for any mileage improvement I could get.
