Over at the Ford site (thedieselstop.com) there is a superb post of a 'before & after' for the Ford PSD OEM fuel filter. It is the only OEM fuel filter system we have seen so far which actually achieves target ISO cleanliness. There are some great graphs, comparisons and some incredible links to relative articles on cleanliness, the impact of fine particles on pump/servo life, etc. If a person reads everything there, you will have a very full knowledge of this whole fuel cleanliness issue and the importance thereof.
