Has anyone heard of GM/Chev doing anything for bad injectors over 100K? Three of mine were replaced in the last two months and now I've got over 100K on my truck and I am worried about the rest. It seems like GM waited long enough before deciding to replace all 8 injectors when some do go bad.

stxfarmer:
GM offered to extend my warranty on the entire engine to 150,000 miles after they got my letter that accompanied my survey of the warranteed 8 injector replacement at 30,000 miles. Of course the steering box issue along with 27 days in the shop and 10 visits to the dealer and another injector failing at 49,000 miles, helped a little too!!! Latest rumor is GM will offer 250K on injection system and life on new "fixed" injectors, but as of 5 days ago, GM cust service said they haven't heard of such a warranty.

Injectors on 01's and 02's are covered for 200,000 miles and, I think, seven years. I belive that on these trucks all 8 are to be replaced if any are bad. Have your dealer look this up with GM.

yeah 7yr/200k tentively on 01&02 but the procedure letter your dealer has on file says 01-04.5 LB7 and yes all eight are to be replaced w/ no deduct.
