I have a 2003 Silverado D/A Crew. Big exhaust, Amsoil Bypass & air filter, all amsoil synlubes, run Stanadyne Blue, and watch everything religoiusly. Run the Van Aaken box, and adjusted for 285/75's using the Predator.

4K mi ago truck started to crank longer before starting. Changed fuel filter - fixed the problem. 4K mi later it won't start period. I use a high volume fuel dealer and have not had dirt problems in the last 8 years. I set all back to stock it still won't start and had set code P1094. All suggestions accepted (keep it clean!) I suspect a contaminated fuel tank thoughts?

Call the dealer, sounds like you're getting a new set of injectors. The code set is for low fuel rail pressure and the symptoms you describe (hard start, etc) all point to one or more bad injectors.

DTC P0087 & P0088 are the fuel rail pressure too low or too high codes.

I can't locate a P1094 in the data list for the 2001 model year "Engine Controls - 6.6L" service manual set I have. Your 2003 may have additional codes for things like EGR, etc.

However, low fuel rail pressure can cause a no-start and probably low power. These usually wind up being due to either a faulty rail pressure sensor or a leaking/stuck relief-valve in the junction block.

1094 is low psi at idle or decel. Sounds like an injector issue isn't allowing you to get the psi built up enough to fire. Priming it up really hard may help get it going temporarily, but be careful driving in case it stalls...

New Injectors - but they're waiting on parts must be a significant problem. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

If the truck is down, they have a little leeway to purchase the parts from a dealer with stuff in stock. Pretty sure I know of a dealer with the stuff in stock.

8 new injectors and the intermediate steering shaft all taken care of. Truck starts as new.
