My recent FSD failure/stalling trouble was a loose connection in the extension harness. One socket-pin was pushed out of the housing and apparently only making intermittant contact. :eek:

My only issue/question is; it has been more than a year since I put the new pump and FSD in the truck, why wait til now to act up?

I found it when I finally had time to inch-by-inch the system. It didn't take long to find... it did take some time to get the time. We all know how that is. smile.gif

My guess it was maybe poor connection in calibration resistors leg, and something caused PCM to do a relearn, and missing resistor and truck would act up.

You can run without a cal resistor for how long I've not tried to test it (PCM stores value of cal resistor during last learn), but did it by accident doing some TDC offset & PMD testing, and forgot to put it back in swapping PMDs, commanded the relearn and truck would not start, after a while figured it out Doh :eek: , put in resistor and all was well.
