After installing the Attitude I noticed the eng. temp it reported was not what the dash temp reported. Doesn't seem to get close until after warmup. Anybody have any theories on this? Just curious.

Me too. I only had it on a day before it's trip for the stealers, so I dismissed it until I could drive it more. I also see my boost is double what my SPA says as well.

I don't have a separate boost meter but the attitude has a record of 26 lbs, which seems kinda high. Not sure what to believe.

Yep, same here. Temperature is quite off until it is stable at around 185

On my last trip pulling my 5th wheel trailer I had the engine temp to alarm at 212 it went off and I looked at the guage below 200 it was way off for some reason.

The Attitude temp is what is on the datastream and will be much more accurate than the dash gauge. Used to be a seperate sender was used for the dash hgauge, and a sensor for the datastream, but I believe the gauge now taps into the same feed.

While I haven't done a strict comparison with the Tech 2, I'd put much more faith in the Attitude's numbers than the fat needle on the dash.

A good way to look at it is the dash gages are REFERENCE ONLY... The readings on the Attitude are REAL & ACTUAL...

The PCM can only register 26 lbs of boost. After that you will just see 26 lbs... I made 26lbs on the STOCK/0 setting.....
