Hi guys love the truck I changed my trans fluid today put in amsoil torque drive trans fluid and deep pan only have 2500 miles but i think its time to get the break in oil out.My question is can i use the leftover oil for the transfer case or what are you guys using. I,am going down to order my 5th wheel tomorrow 36' holiday rambler this trailer is going to weigh in the 14,000 lb range got to keep the truck in tip top shape

The lube requirements for the transfer case is the same as the tranny. Dexron III. Torque Drive is Dexron III, as well as TES-295. By all means if you want, put that stuff in there.

I've had Amsoil synthetic ATF almost since day one in both the tranny and transfer case. No runs. No drips. No errors.

2004 DRW 4x4 dmax Just did the samething myself 2 days ago ~ FWIW I used liquid teflon on the plug bolts. The case is a hi content magnesium alloy and requires something to prevent galling.
