I have run a full tank full to date with my juice set on 90 HP .Pre juice I would see a constant 15.8~16.4 mpg(Ya i drive fast and hard save it Mom I have heard it all)! on the first tankfull it got 17.3mpg! there is hope I may see 18~19 mpg once the hotrod is not getting showed off to all the boys!I know at this rate its going to take a long time to pay for it self but there is hope!I dont see the rear tires lasting to long with the power you have on tap!!!! on a hot day you can see the dark ribbins just pealing off them hides! :D

One of the things I find is that it takes SO little APP to do the job accelerating that the trans shifts much more quickly, getting you up through the gears more quickly. Let's hope your next tank equals or beats the last one, and this wasnt just a coincidence!

What settings is suppose to get the best MPG? I would think it would be 1 or 2.

Been running the JUICE on the 90 setting for two tanks now and milage has been 17-18. As Kennedy said " it takes SO little APP to do the job accelerating" I think it is much easier on the truck. Now if I could only keep my foot out of it. Those Mustang GT's just cann't understand why they are only seeing my tail lights.

Juiced and loving it. tongue.gif

White Water Rafting trip to The Forks, Maine this past weekend. 21.2 MPG on the way up, cruise set at 75 until route 202. 20.8 mpg on the way home.

Box set at full blast...as always!

Great mileage, Great power...great front end rattles on offramps!

I now have added a JK 4" exhaust and still see in the mid 17teens for mileage! the sound is odd not to loud not really harsh, its like a school bus with front diesel motor. I now see 26lbs of boost with juice and 24 with it disconnected. If they ony offered this truck with 3.42 rear or a 6th gear! :D

Without Juice 17 to 18 empty. With juice on level one 90% of the time 18.2 best 17.3 worst so far.
Towing 26 ft. camp trailer, two motorcycles and all the stuff for a long weekend (approx. 9000lbs.). Without juice 11 to 12 with juice 13 even. One short trip only.

Since we don't know what Edge does with the box, we can't tell exactly, but we can give a good guess.

If you were to drive a Juiced Duramax EXACTLY the same as you did the stock Duramax, with the Juice set on level 1 or 2 (timing modifications only, no additional fuel) you SHOULD get better fuel mileage. The Juice simply tunes the Duramax to optimum performance for a diesel whereas GM has to take into consideration lots of EPA and other pollution laws that Edge can ignore.

On level 3 or 4 I suspect you should see a drop in mileage due to the additional fuel volume injected.

On a different note... if we would do nothing but disable the pilot injection you would get better mileage and slightly more power. The downside would be a louder engine and more pollution.

Towed my bogger (12200 combined weight) to silver lake and back friday on level three and got 13.3 mpg and it didn't downshift once with cruise set at 70. Highest EGT on a long hill was 1100. Before juice I would get between 9 and 10 at the same speed because it would downshift on every incline and yes I had all the updates. It was a good trip except for wrecking the ring pinion and carrier in my wimpy 10 bolt front...

"disable the pilot injection"

Is there anyway to do this...i would kinda like a little more engine noise. Call me crazy!

Roughly 3000 miles with Juice set on level 4 regular and level 2 in tow-haul has averaged just over 1 mpg better than approximately 15,000 driven pre Juice ... very happy with the unit  guages indicate she runs cooler under most conditions with Juice, can't help but agree with JK, does so well with minimal foot pressure that I only have to apply much more pressure when I choose to
