I've had my truck sitting in the garage with the batteries disconnected for the last 6 weeks as I did a major stereo upgrade as time allowed.

Any words of wisdom before I just connect the batteries and hope that sucker fires right up?

Maybe bleed the fuel system before trying to start it. It's possible the fuel may have drained back.

Also, if the Allison acts a little funny, give it some time to get the juices flowing.

Couldn't hurt to bleed the fuel system, easy to do. Also let it idle for a min or two and then shut it down and restart just in case the TQ converter drained back.

You guys are fast. Doesn't anybody work around here? :D

Thanks for the advice, I'll bleed it, start and then re-start after a couple of minutes before pulling out. Hopefully my tires won't have flat spotted, but hopefully them E rated tires @ 65# aren't likely to do that.
