2003 map sensor

is the map on a 2003on the intercooler line going into the intake,almost being directly in front of the waste gate.i think this is it if im wrong please let me know.thanks jess

King, no, the MAP sensor is still mounted in the air tube just downstream of the air filter. The "sensor" you are refering to is the intake air heater.

i thought that was the mass airflow sensor on the air intake

I misread your post, sorry. The MAP is refered to as a baro sensor on these, it looks just like a map sensor but isnot reading internalengine. it is mounted on above left valve cover (drivers side) , kind of hidden under the upper rad hose.

dtech i finally found it right under my nose all the time.i needed it to plug a fuel pressure box into however the box a va is not working at all major detonation so i cut the timing wire to bypass it and now no power actually less, bullydog is sending another i hope this one works .thanks for the help.jess
