I just installed an Amsoil filter on my 02 Sierra that has 9700 miles. In the process, I discovered that my stock air filter had been leaking past the seal. Anyone using the stock filter should check their filters. All that is needed is to add some foam rubber weatherstripping to the air box cover to prevent this.
