Hello All,
I am putting an intercooler on my 87 c2500 6.2 td and would like to know the best size (dimensions). Also does it matter if it is thinner, shorter, or narrow than optimum (ie if smaller by which way is best short, narrow, thin).
Thanks again for all your help,
Don Cannon

I think that the wider ( thicker ) it is the less flow restriction, so better flow less presure drop.

I can't tell for sure but the best size is the one that fits your truck ;)

Hey thanks alot. I will keep that in mind when I look on ebay. I tried Kennedy and turbo tech, but they say they do not make one for the 6.2 td. I guess some plumbing will be involved

plumbing is the big problem I see. Maybe something like this, down low with an air scoop to direct air into it? and run the cooled air up on the driver side?
