Cruising at highway speeds it starts knocking (loud) and spitting and sputtering and blowing a ton of white smoke. Just started and been doing it more frequently. Had Juice w/att on for 6K with no problems. Shop updated computer and replaced fuel pressure regulator. It through no codes. Any other possible causes? I was thinking perhap plugged fuel filter, but they said no way. They said it is either plugged on not. I do not agree. It starts acting like this after about 20 minutes on the highway.
