performance problem

I have a Chev D/A 02 model. If I put the pedal down hard, when it starts to shift from 2nd to 3rd it looses power and will not shift unless you let off of the pedal. It has no perf mods and has never been to dealer. It also has 35k miles on it. Any suggestions??????? Thanks Cass Pace

Fuel filter- has it ever been changed?

Is the air filter clean and in good shape?

fuel filter has never been changed. how often are people changing them in relation to what is reccommended. cass

I think 15k is recommended...I'm changing mine at 10/12k tops......Premature,perhaps.....I guess it really depends on the quality of fuel where you live and or purchase.....if you frequent the same station, cut a filter open at a change...Then be the judge of your findings......
