I currently drive a 2003 d/a, c/c LB7. I am Considering trading fr a 2005 LLY. I do have some concerns. I love the performance and sound of my 03(Juice W/ Attitude, Hypertech Power Programer III, Dynomax 4"). Does the LLY respond to programers like a LB7, and how does it sound with exhaust installed. Having a cat must dampen the sound party, and I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE UP MY LB7's Awsome performance (beating 6.0 strokes and 600 cummins is a must!) Does GM have anything up their sleeves for 2006? No B.S. please, just facts.

The LB7 is more responsive to lesser pedal inputs, but doesn't seem to have the beig end charge that the LB7 does. Now keep in mind, I'm comparing to a built transmission and 500+ RW HP.

For a simple work, and sometimes play truck it does quite nicely. Personally, I'd wait for 2006 at this point. ;)

I have 3 LB7's and 2 LLY's. The LB7's will outrun, outpull, and out mpg the LLY.
