I have about 1000 miles on my new truck (LLY) and at idle a hear a ticking noise which comes and goes. I rember reading here on The Diesel Page about a similar complaint when the LB7 was first introduced. The noise was believed to be oil escaping from a lifter or something similar. Is this still a issue. I love the truck and is so ever fast.

Don't worry, It's a normal thing and won't hurt anything. Mine still does it off and on. Especially after an oil change. I have 42,000 on the truck and no problems. I don't even notice it anymore.

Thank you for the reply, did anyone ever find the cause of the noise, I am just curious. But I am glad to hear is not an issue. = Art ;)
