HI

I have a 1963 c10 that I am looking to swap a diesel into. I am not a mechanic and I have little experience when it comes to engines. I am a chef and work a lot of hours a week. I figure I might as well drive something I enjoy with what little spare time I have.

A diesel engine swap is really out of my league of expertise. If anyone has any info an where to start or a good mechanic in the NJ/NY area who could take on a project. I would appreciate it.

I've emailed a good friend who lives in Newburgh for suggestions; he has a road service for large vehicles, but he may know someone reputable.

Well, I heard back, and he's not familiar with anyone except those who do Cummins, Cat, or the larger Isuzu...sorry.
