i have a 98 gmc 3500 4x4 6.5 168,000 miles. i just got the truck
to do refrigeration work. it has an enclosed service bed and was
used by penn dot hwy dept. the truck runs great, but had bad tranny.
but i want to say hello to everybody and thanks for having me here

I'm south of you in Mount Pleasant (close to Concord). Just went up highway 8 a few weeks ago for an errand and picked up lunch at Jimmie's BBQ.
Been looking for a 6.5 truck to supplement my fleet. Glad you found one. These things are cheap and fairly easy to work on.
Been a member here forever, it seems. Good group of experienced, friendly people here. Just watch out for that Robyn chick from the Northwest US. If she gets close enough to smell the diesel exhaust from your truck, she'll buy it from ya.:p

Hook up a direct reading (Mechanical) Gauge and see whatcha get.
If the pressure is still low then there is likely internal issues
