My truck, parked in my driveway and unoccupied was hit. Just behind my fuel filler toward rear.
Since it has to be repaired, it seems a great time to replace the bed with a flat bed.
Any suggestions or recommendations? Hard to get prices just for research. Love to have aluminum but it may be out of my price range.
So any help would be greatly appreciated.
I would look on Craig's list for a used bed. I have seen many (take off) flat beds and 5th wheel hauler beds available at very reasonable prices there. Good luck getting your truck repaired and I hope the other person had insurance.

I was thinking new and having it installed. Getting to old and broken to take on this job. Although, I've been looking under a few in parking lots. Doesn't seem like brain surgery. I'll have to make sure I get one for my crew cab long bed truck.
Still thinking of new but the squirrels are turning the wheels.
