Then, Part III will take you to Moraine Ohio in March 2001 for the first-ever plant tour of DMAX, to learn how the Duramax 6600 was made, and then to late summer 2001 when TDP took our Rendezvous group on a tour of the DMAX engine production facility.

Thanks for the stroll down memory lane, Jim! I have fond memories of all the excitement around the debut of the Duramax and of the 2001 Rendezvous that took place in Ohio shortly after.

Thanks Casey! It was such an amazing time and such an amazing story - that needs to be told... again... There's a new generation of GM diesel owners (and even at GM/DMAX) who may not know this. The coming segments on the Duramax Diesel Power Tour and the DMAX plant tour(s) are so amazing as well. ;)
