This from a 2007 Classic, or NBS? Was the radio head unlocked before removal?
Not sure what style it is. It is a Cat Eye style? Lol! Nothing has been removed yet except the intake. It is all scheduled to be removed April 18th and replaced with upgrades.Quote:

Maybe do that first, as it can't be done once the computers are modified or not available, or removed. Back when Lil Red was being built (2003-2004) I bought a factory 2001 radio/CD unit for the new dash I installed in the truck. I didn't have any trouble with the unit working. Maybe the salvage yard unlocked it... I dunno...
It only matters if someone along the way locked it, then it was removed before being unlocked. They aren't locked from the factory. If a previous owner were one to actually read the owner's manual, they might lock it, because the manual suggests it. Most folks don't, because they don't read the manual beyond necessity. If it's never been locked, or was unlocked before separation from the original vehicle, it's no big deal.
