Need well informed 6.5 owner or mechanic- Clev, OH
Newbie here,
Looking at purchasing a used 97 K3500 6.5 diesel with only 67,000 mi in Cleveland, OH area. Would like to find someone who is knowlegable with this engine before purchasing, or when i go to pick it up to know what to look for or if there are any things that are red flags with it to not purchase it.
Have done carfax and Autocheck on it It has had 3 owners, been to auction 2 times, Last time was because it was purchased in July 2006 and repossesed in Dec, owner put 15,000 on it in those 6 mos. Concerned he may have not taken good care of it during that time. Would like to find someone to possibly look at vehicle either before i go to complete purchase, or meet when i go to purchase.
