New diesel owner

Hello to all Diesel Page members! I'm Steve from southern New Mexico. I lost track of how many vehicles I have owned somewhere at the 70+ number but now for the first time I have a diesel under my hood (first turbo too! :eek:). I admit to skulking around this forum as a guest for a month or two and I would like to voice my appreciation for the wealth of information I have found here. I 'stole' my '94 3/4 ton diesel 'burb for an amazing 800 bucks due to surging and poor idle problems that the prior owner was quoted 3,000-3,500 to fix. I learned about PMD issues in these forum pages and for 250 and darn little time I was rewarded with an amazing truck. Thank you all! Next I plan on following more good advice and adding gauges to better monitor my new beast. New exhaust is also on the to do list. It is gonna be a blast learning about my 'burb and I look forward to spending time here in the discussions. Will post a pic in the near future....
