I have seen a camaro with a 6.5 at some point on the net. Google for pic's and a video
Local fellow here has a Corvette with a 6.5 TD in it.
If you can stuff a Chevy Rat Motor in the thing a 6.2/6.5 will fit too.
The Older Oldsmobile big blocks were a tad wider, so there is a comparison for you.

A 6.2/6.5 can be installed in any GM vehicle that was available with a factory big-block gas engine - and some others with mods. The 6.2/6.5 has about the same general footprint as a big-block, but the diesel weighs a little more. Some have used big-block coils in the front to help with the added weight (in cars that came with a small-block) and some have used air bags. Click the following link for some ideas.. :)
