Thread: feel slugish at top end

    Question

    2001 2500HD 45,000 miles: When pulling a 20' gooseneck empty the last few times the trailer seems to really drag the truck down at top end 65 to 70 mph. I have put on larger / new tires 265's, could this be a problem (tire size)

    I change the fuel filter every 10,000. It was changed at 42,000 now have 44,600

    What does your air box look like? Is it still ducted into the fender?

    Tire size will have some effect. The Van Aaken 70-110 power box very simple, and will pick up the slack and then some...
