Does anybody know if any of these new boxes or chips (Edge, Duramaximizer, etc) do away with the 98mph fuel shutoff. I am not going to buy one until I can run redline. Heck with 98!

Just a Thought............

None as we speak........I know what your saying. I use to think the same way....BUT..When you own a diesel it's all been proved and said way before 98 mph.......What good would it be unless you live on the Auto bon or Salt Flats...... What gets up to 100+ mph must get back down quickly too in most cases.....I find myself looking for more braking now in my truck on the "JUICE" It takes a lot to get my 7500+ #'s stopped ..... I really don't want to out run the competition. But rather tease them knowing they cannot out accelerate me in my TORQUE Monster....For this is what its all about if you want a diesel hotrod IMHO.......If you wanted to due a 110+mph, your 40 G'S should have went for a Corvette...The true champion mass production street legal "speed" demon.

Thankyou for the info. I talked to Bully Dog and they are working on something for the speed limiter, thank God. What is the point of teasing someone, I like to outrun the hell out of em. The GM trucks have 4wheel disks that stop fine to me at any speed. All trucks should run to red-line and let the owner decide about how fast they want to go. I don't speed much; But I don't like to be limited.

Thumbs up

Rev limiter??...My aching @$$. I wish I was on probation, just to make it more fun to speed....LOL.... 95 mph stinks. And it doesn't take the Salt Flats to use the max speed. Hell, it takes 90 MPH to get through Knoxville, without getting ran over..... And it really pi$$e$ me off when a mini-van passes me, because I'm maxed out.

I still haven't figured out why some claim to have paid $40k for this machine.

Alright man.....It's called rounding off.....Sorry....... I'll do my best for ya !!!!!!!! Next time.........

If you wanted to due a 110+mph, your 40 G'S should have went for a Corvette
Should have said $37,789.65 (before taxes) should have went for a corvette
....LOL
sales tax in CT is 6 percent............
$37,789.65 x .06 =$2267.38 $37.789.65 + $2267.38=$40057.02

See I told you I paid $40 G'S

Mack-Daddy. I still want 3400 RPM at no additional cost (tax and title not included). (For me) Vettes are about as useful as teats on a boar hog. They can't tow a Mastercraft boat, haul a cord of wood or switch to 4-Hi, on the fly. This NutNbutGMC-machine is a chick magnet too...Ever seen a crew cab Vette??? LMAO... Just poking fun at ya' Man.......... Have a great weekend. After all, it's Friday for me.

John K, where's the programmable box??

More than 40k? Your salesperson is happy... D@mn it boy... who bargained that? your lawyer???? (both being crooks and liars sorry but it's true )
Heck, it's only money, and then some belly-ache over a cheap set of tires...LMAO.... Ya' gotta' love it.

(no offense intended to anyone, I just call it like I see it)

I've seen 107mph roller speed on the dyno with the TTS reflash. I was running out of time so I did not check rpm's at top speed, but it WILL rev to 3400.
