after my 95 gm van 6.5 diesel nonturbo starts the glowplug goes on and off over and over while the truck is running .

2 and there seems to be somesort of fuel leak in the valley between the two heads and drips from around the starter and the trans where the engine and trans meet. But it seems to be coming from the front top of the motor.

3 if I let off of the accelorator to fast the truck will sometimes kill

    anyhelp is appreciated

If memory serves, your 1995 6.5 in a van still maintained the mechanical DB2 fuel injection pump. If so, you also likely have a glow controller assembly similar to that used in the 1985-93 model pickups.

Your glow controller is likely bad, but I'd spend some time with a multimeter to verify. www.usdieselparts.com has genuine ACDelco replacements.

The fuel leak could be due to leaking throttle shaft seals. Can be replaced by an owner if you're somewhat mechanically inclined for just a few bucks. These sort of leaks occur most often when the engine is cold.
