Question

Would anyone know if someone makes a front ball type hitch that would mount oa 2002, 3500? I just need some kind of a hitch for a 2" ball to use to launch my boat when I have my Slide-In camper on. Boat is 350# tongue wt. Thanks for any input.

Hidden Hitch makes a front receiver that will accept a 2 inch ball. Go to their website at www.hiddenhitch.com It's part number 5004 and requires no drilling - mounts to the tow hook bolts. They make them for the 1500's as well as the 2500HD's and 3500HD's.

Question

The instructions for another brand of front mount hitch states "requires some trimming of Fascia".
Does anyone know if the Hidden Hitch brand requires that the truck's front end be "trimmed"?
Thanks in advance for your response.

Front mount Hidden Hitch requires no modification at all. I have one on my '02 2500HD.

I just ordered a hidden hitch for the front.

Should be much easier to maneuver that trailer around now.
