    After all the crying and belching the F**D boys did about aluminum heads look what's coming to a dealer near them;
    "...new 5.4-liter SOHC three-valve-per-cylinder Triton V-8 will power the 2004 F**d F-150 pickups, due out next fall. It features a stiff cast-iron block, lightweight aluminum heads, magnesium camshaft covers and a composite intake manifold."

    Just too funny to pass up.

    The aluminum heads that the Ford guys were bitching about were the aluminum heads that are used on the Duramax diesel. Diesels are designed for hardcore workloads and using "weaker" aluminum heads rather than cast iron for a hard-working engine is considered by many to be a bad idea.

    Aluminum heads on a gasser is extremely common and certainly nothing new.
