    Question

Can any of you guys point me to a site that has info on older Cummins marine engines? I am looking at a 77 Egg Harbor with '78 & '79 Cummins VT-555m engines.

I am looking for info on longevity, maintenance gotcha's and the such.

    Anyone?

Go see Al Pennino right down the road in Tyngsboro - the man's a walking, talking diesel encyclopedia!

He's on Middlesex Tpke, #39 I think. If you're going toward the center of town, he's on the right, a little before Chelmsford Auto Electric and Tobin Auto Parts. E-mail me at nh2112 at mcttelecom dot com and I'll give you his number.

You might also want to try the TDR Website. Go to Turbodieselregister.com. It mainly has info on the Cummins engines used in Dodge trucks but there are a lot of knowledgable people willing to help.
