    That's impossible, a V8 Diesel with aluminum heads would never work. Cummins would never do anything like that. Gee wiz, what would the Dodge boys drive then. With all the crap they talk about the Duramax they would be eating an awful lot of crow if they ever bought a V8 with aluminum heads. Aluminum heads are nothing new for Isuzu (and every other non American diesel manufacturer in the world) but, it would be a new deal for Cummins. I'm sure as soon as Navistar figures out how to use aluminum we'll be seeing aluminum head Powerstrokes too.

    Jeep will have an aluminum head, cast iron block diesel soon. Engine made in Italy . At least it's not French [img]tongue.gif[/img] . There were articles in two publications this month concerning it's emminent release in the US.
