Hey everyone,
I live very close to a Dodge Dealer and my brother-in-law just bought a new Dodge Dooley 3500 with a gas engine. Anyway I was checking out his truck and looking aroung the lot and I spotted a Dodge (almost) Crew Cab with a HELI 5.7 magnum engine. As I looked further on the window sticker i see 5 speed auotmatic trans.
Anyone know who's building this tranny for Dodge, and what it is??

It's Dodge's own transmission. I'm not 100% certain, but I think's it's an evolution of their current 4-speed auto. It's only on the gassers right now, but will be available on diesels later 2003 or 2004.
