Well I guess they have been having a few of these running for a month or so now on the test stands. I just heard about it late last week. Funning looking engine, and it looks like with all the bolt together peices that oil leaks are going to happen. It is quite but I don't think quiter than a Dmax. Wish I could take pictures to show you all. Of course I will keep you all posted.

    ford2chevy,

Did you notice how old that article is? It has a few mistakes.

One, the 7.3 is not a Ford engine.

Two, the G2 will not be camless.

I heard it run here in the plant. They ran a few in quality audit. Do not know how long they ran any though.

Not I didn't notice how old the article was. Its the only info I could find. The new engine isn't Ford either is it? Its Navistar/International.

    LanduytG,
Was this at Indianapolis? How did you get to see this engine running? Do they give tours where you can see it running?

I saw it at work in the Indy Plant. Yesterday that brought in the Ford Excursion with a G2 in it. I have to say that its quite, buut fact still remains that its in a Ford.
