After I had the single drive shaft installed & the latest TCM update, my truck developed a noticeable clunk right before a complete stop & when the brake was released to take off. I've noticed a number of other Dmax owners complaining of the same thing.
I have discovered that if I ease off the brake just before the truck stops rolling, & then re-apply brake to a full stop, there is NO CLUNK even on take-off. Just a very slight release of pressure on the brake pedal is all it takes.
It doesn't matter if it's a hard or soft stop either. The technique always works. Thought I'd pass this on. It might work for you too!
