Thread: auto climate control?

    I notice once in a while when i start the truck the a/c light is on? is this normal? is this part of helping it to warm up faster? let me note it is cold out yet, here in wisconsin. thanks gary

    I believe it has to do with how you left the controls when you shut down. If the 2 knobs are on Auto, anything can happen. But there are some settings that have to do with re criculating the air that force it to come on.

    Sounds weird doesnt it, the A/C kickin on when its cold outside. Well its suppose to do that. Like the the name implies "Climate Control". Its controlling the amount of humidity in the air. When the A/C kicks in during cold weather its because of high humidity and its trying to dry out the air in the cab. Hope that helps.

    I always shut it off when i see it. i suppose i should leave it on see what it does?
