My truck has an awful vibration, shake, rattle coming from the 4wd lever on the floor. This happens when the truck hits 85 and stops over 95. It looks and sounds like the shifter is gonna fall through the floorboard.

My buddy was telling me about his similar problem. He has an 8.1 Allison SB Crew Cab with the Transfer case lever on the floor. He had the 2 piece drive line replaced with the one piece initially and then again. His dealership is clueless. His happens at highway speeds less than described above in 2wd. He claims the lever vibration is severe.

    Anybody?

Mine has a slight vibration (when in 4x4) between 58 & 62 mph. I have not had it out yet(frount drive shaft) but when I do I will send it in for a balance check/rebalance. I don't drive over 65 mph in 4x4 so don't know what it does at 85 mph, nor do I intend to find out.
