I know this has been discussed in the past but the message listing this topic was unavailable when I tried to access it.

So, Has anyone been able to successfully deal with the shift points on the 400 turbo. I have a 3.73 rear end and shifts into 2nd at around 10mph then to 3rd at 15mph. Sometimes accelorating at around 3/4 throttle it bypasses 2nd altogether and goes directly to 3rd. It's hard to tell if the problem lies with the vacuum valve on the side of the injection pump (not a throttle positioning sensor) or the governor in the transmission.

Any discussion/help would be greatly appreciated.
