    Cool

I just traded my 03 Ram 1500 w/ 4.7 gas pig in for my 2500HD. I spent a truck ton of money trying for better MPG in the Dodge and failed. I

    Vagabond,

If you're after just a 40-50 hp gain, you can leave the factory exhaust, but I'd recommend a set of boost/EGT gauges. A Predator is an excellent first step, as are several other currently produced programmers.

I also like the Edge/Attitude and the VanAaken.

Dual exhaust systems are as much for looks as they are for performance. A 4" single system will do for lots of power.

The AFE Stage II we tested late last year produced a few horsepower increase on the dyno. Most intake systems like the AFE and several others are made to keep most of the underhood air away from the filter element. Bang for the buck.... I think there are other more cost effective choices....

There are lots of right choices for the LB7. Just depends on your tastes and budget.

Precautions..... Read all you can in BB's like this one. We also have a member article available called Diesel Primer that can answer many of your questions.
