Now my friend is looking into this truck to pull his TT at 8000 loaded. How will this truck compare to a 2500 suburban with a 350 as far as performance? Actually he is looking at three different trucks, dodge V10,Chevy 454,and a Chevy 6.5 all 3500 dually series. The only difference is the cab configuration. He is leaning toward the 6.5 only because of the crew cab, the others are extended. Opinions?

The dual-wheel,longer trucks will be more stable towing than the Suburban. The whole Persian Gulf cheers everytime those big gassers fire-up.I`d,personally,stay with diesel.Doesn`t sound like he`s partial to GM.He can always keep looking and widen his scope.
