I pulled into my drive last friday evening and was letting my 97 6.5L turbo RV idle down. While outside of the RV I heard a new engine sound. The sound is louder than the normal diesel noise and almost sounds like a gas engine water pump going bad or a bad engine bearing. The engine temp seems O.K. and the oil pressure is good. I travel for a living in this RV as a southeast rep and can't afford much time off. I there any way to figure out this problem or do you know of a good diesel mech in the Orlando or central Florida area? Thank you!
