    Default Dmax cab removal

I recently watched a video posted on youtube of some GM dealer techs removing a cab from a pre 2008 Dmax to do head gaskets. Is this the only way to do the head gaskets, and or turbo, or can they be serviced properly with a reasonable amount of effort with the cab and front clip on the truck by removing the inner fenders, or is it feasable to remove the engine from the truck with the cab still and clip still attached to the frame.

My Dmax is running fine, I just want to know what I am up against if I should have to tear into my truck down the road.

nope the turbo and heads can be R&Rd with the cab and fenders in place. I just take the wheels off and set the front end down on the ground. The inner fenderwells will be removed though. I may try removing the cab someday though as i hear it's easier then the fords to remove and they aren't too bad.
